Put your waiver form on your Google Business Profile

Updated October 18, 2026

Your Google Business Profile is what comes up with your hours, your address and your reviews when someone looks your shop up on Google Search or Google Maps. Put your waiver form on it, and a client can sign before they walk in, from the same place they checked your hours. It's the same waiver form your QR code opens. This page covers where it goes, how to add it, and what a client sees.

Where does my waiver form go on my profile?

In a post. A post is an update you put on your profile, with a picture, a few words and a button. Google shows it on your profile on Search and Maps: under Updates or Overview on a phone, and under From the owner on a computer. Use your QR code as the picture, and make the button open your waiver form.

If your shop has its own website, add a link to your waiver form there too. Your website is already on your profile, so a client who taps it is one more tap from your form.

How do I add the post?

  1. In your dashboard, open Your QR code. Press Download the QR as PNG to save your QR code as a picture. Then, on the line under the buttons that says Put your waiver form on your Google Business Profile too, press Copy the link.
  2. Go to your Business Profile at business.google.com, signed in to the Google account that manages it.
  3. Select Posts, then Add post, and pick Update.
  4. Add your QR code's picture and a few words, like "Sign your waiver before your appointment: tap the button, or scan the code."
  5. Add a button, and paste your waiver form's link as its link. Sign up fits a form your client fills out.
  6. Select Post.

Google checks every post before it shows, so give it a little while. Google also archives a post after 6 months. To keep yours up, pick a schedule under Repeats when you post it, or post it again then.

Leave your phone number out of the post's words: Google may take down a post with a phone number it can't match to your profile. Google's own steps for posts have the rest.

Not your waiver form itself. Google sets the rules for both:

  • Your website. Google says the website on a profile should be your shop's one website, and one you own and run. If your shop has no website, your L.tattoo page can be it: it's your shop's own page, you change it under Links in your dashboard, and it has a Sign your waiver button.
  • A booking link. Google's rule is that a booking link has to let the client book. A waiver form doesn't book an appointment, so Google can take it off. If your clients book on a booking page, that page is the one to add.

The rules are on Google's page for business links and in its eligibility guidelines.

What does a client see?

Your post, on your profile, with your QR code and your button. On a phone, they tap the button and your waiver form opens, ready to fill out. On a computer, they can scan your QR code with their phone instead.

Does it work the same as my QR code?

Yes. It's the same waiver form, at the same address, yourshop.waivers.tattoo. A waiver signed from your profile is a waiver like any other: it shows up under Waivers in your dashboard, and the client goes on your client list.
